I cannot believe how fast Winter has came and went. Not complaining one bit I swear! It seemed like almost yesterday when Caleb harvested his very first deer ever, only to be followed up a few short weeks later by me filling a tag on a nice MN buck with my muzzleloader. Winter had me busy running a trapline everyday, so I just didn’t get out ice fishing at all this season except for ONCE where as I’m normally on the ice just about every day. Now here we are just a few short weeks away before our season kicks off on a wild boar hunt in Texas that the Texas Hog Hunters Association page helped put together in literally minutes of me asking a few questions. Once that hunt is complete, we’ll only have another week and a half before the MN turkey season gets rolling. Myself along with my kids will be doing everything we can to call in some birds with our Mac Turkey Calls for the shot, and with any luck we’ll have a ton of footage to share with you all between our main camera and the Njaeye action cam. Once our turkey season gets started, we’ll be extremely busy trying to fill our own tags here in Minnesota, then we’ll be trying to squeeze in a few Nebraska and Wisconsin trips, while at the same time mentoring a few disabled veterans turkey hunts here at home. It seems like a never ending schedule, but I sure wouldn’t want it any other way!
